You’re not alone and we understand how you feel…
You’re tired of constantly questioning yourself and not feeling good enough. The self-doubt, overthinking, and pressure you put on yourself are exhausting. You’re ready to feel more confident, more grounded, and more secure in yourself.
We’ve worked with many clients across Quebec who felt stuck in cycles of self-doubt and never quite felt good enough. Over time, they’ve learned how to trust themselves, feel more confident in their decisions, and move through their lives with more ease and self-assurance.
Low self-esteem and self-doubt don’t just go away with time. Without support, many people stay stuck in patterns of overthinking, self-criticism, and second-guessing themselves.

There are structured, evidence-based ways to build self-trust and shift how you relate to yourself over time.
We help you understand the patterns behind the self-doubt and show you how to respond to them differently, so you can feel more steady and confident in your decisions.
When self-doubt is constant, it shapes how you show up in your work, your relationships, and your decisions.
Self-esteem therapy helps you change these patterns so you’re not constantly questioning yourself or holding yourself back.
Therapy for self-esteem and self-doubt helps you trust yourself, feel more secure in who you are, and move forward without holding yourself back.

Getting started with therapy for self-esteem and self-doubt at Alcove Psychology is simple.
Book a free 20-minute consultation to see if it feels like a good fit. This is a chance to ask questions, share what has been coming up for you, and get a sense of how we work.
If it feels right, we will schedule your first session and begin at a pace that feels manageable for you.
In our work together, we focus on the patterns that keep you stuck in self-doubt and constant self-evaluation. We help you step out of overthinking, trust your judgment, and relate to yourself in a more balanced and steady way.
Over time, you feel more confident in your decisions, less pulled by external validation, and more secure in how you show up in your life.
We can help you move toward that.

What We Offer
Therapy for self-esteem and self-doubt at Alcove Psychology is tailored to you and your unique experience. We draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and mindfulness-based strategies to help you understand the patterns behind self-doubt, overthinking, and high self-expectations, and begin making meaningful shifts over time.
Sessions focus on both insight and practical support. This may include identifying patterns of perfectionism, constant self-evaluation, and reliance on external validation, as well as understanding where these patterns developed. We work on helping you trust your judgment, make decisions more efficiently, and take action without getting stuck in overanalysis or pressure to get everything right.
We offer 50-minute individual sessions for teens (14+) and adults, available in person in Laval and virtually across Quebec. Together, we’ll find a pace and structure that works for you, whether you’re looking for short-term support or longer-term therapy.
