Does any of this sound familiar?

  • You feel constantly drained, even after a full night’s sleep

  • You’re more irritable, overwhelmed, or emotionally tapped out

  • Small tasks feel heavier than they should

  • You find yourself zoning out or struggling to focus

  • You’re pulling back from people or needing more space than usual

  • You look like you have it together, but inside it feels like too much

You’re not alone and we understand how you feel.

You’ve been pushing through for a while now, and it’s catching up to you. The constant pressure, mental load, and exhaustion are wearing you down. You’re ready for things to feel lighter, more manageable, and more like you again.

We’ve worked with many clients across Quebec who felt completely burnt out and unsure how to keep going. Over time, they’ve learned how to slow things down, feel more in control of their energy, and move through their days with more clarity and ease.

Burnout doesn’t resolve on its own. Without support, many people stay stuck in cycles of overworking, exhaustion, and withdrawal.

There are structured, evidence-based ways to recover from burnout that go beyond just taking time off.

We help you understand the patterns that led to burnout and show you how to shift them, so your energy can recover and things start to feel more manageable again.

When burnout is ongoing, it affects more than you realize.
It can impact your focus, mood, relationships, and overall sense of well-being.

Burnout therapy helps you interrupt these patterns and build a more sustainable way of moving through your day, so you’re not stuck in the same cycle.

Burnout therapy helps you come out of survival mode and build a pace of life that actually feels sustainable.

Getting started with burnout therapy at Alcove Psychology is easy.

Book a free 20-minute consultation to see if you feel comfortable with your therapist and if it’s a good fit. This is a chance to talk through what’s been feeling like too much, ask questions, and get a sense of how we work.

If it feels right, we’ll schedule your first session and begin at a pace that feels manageable for you.

Imagine moving through your day without feeling constantly depleted. Having more energy, clearer boundaries, and a pace that actually feels sustainable. Feeling more present in your life, instead of just getting through it.

Things begin to feel steadier, lighter, and more manageable again. We can help you move out of burnout and into a way of living that feels more sustainable, not like you’re just getting by.

What We Offer

We offer individual burnout therapy for teens (14+) and adults, with sessions available both in person and virtually. Sessions are 50 minutes and can be scheduled weekly or biweekly, depending on what feels most helpful and sustainable for you.

Our approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Together, we work to understand what’s led to burnout, identify the patterns that keep you in overdrive, and help you build a way of moving through your life that feels more balanced, realistic, and sustainable over time.
