Depression Therapy, Laval, QC
For When You Don’t Feel Like Yourself Anymore
Evening and weekend appointments · In-person and virtual sessions · No long waitlists

On the outside, you’re holding it together.
BUT INSIDE, SOMETHING FEELS OFF.
-
You might feel flat, disconnected, or emotionally drained.
-
You’re harder on yourself than you used to be.
-
You’re withdrawing more, or needing more space.
-
And you don’t quite feel like yourself anymore.
You’re not in crisis… but you’re also not okay, and it’s hard to explain why.
We understand how you feel… It’s exhausting to keep showing up this way. And you’re ready to feel more like yourself again.
We’ve worked with many clients across Quebec who felt stuck in this same place, disconnected, low, and unsure how to shift it. Over time, they’ve been able to reconnect with themselves, regain energy and motivation, and feel more present in their day-to-day lives.
A Thoughtful, Evidence-Based Approach to Depression

Depression is not something you have to figure out on your own.
There are structured, evidence-based ways to understand what’s happening and begin to shift it.
In therapy, we take the time to understand what’s contributing to how you’re feeling, and work toward helping you reconnect with yourself, your energy, and your day-to-day life in a way that feels manageable.
Research consistently shows that therapy is an effective way to reduce symptoms of depression and help people feel more like themselves again.
Depression therapy helps you reconnect with yourself, regain energy and motivation, and feel more present in your day-to-day life.

In depression therapy, we explore the patterns, stressors, and experiences contributing to how you’re feeling, while helping you re-engage with your life and reconnect with what matters to you.
The work is paced in a way that feels manageable, without pressure to rush or “fix” things quickly.
Through depression therapy, you can begin to feel more present, regain energy and motivation, and move through your days with more clarity and steadiness.
Our approach is grounded in evidence-based practices and tailored to you, so you’re not just talking about how you feel, but creating meaningful, lasting change.

What We Offer
Depression therapy at Alcove Psychology is tailored to you and your unique experience. We draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and mindfulness-based strategies to help you better understand what you’re going through and begin making meaningful shifts over time.
Sessions focus on both insight and practical support. This may include understanding patterns of withdrawal or self-criticism, processing underlying stressors or life experiences, and gently rebuilding routines, motivation, and connection in a way that feels manageable.
We offer 50-minute individual sessions for teens (14+) and adults, available in person in Laval and virtually across Quebec. Together, we’ll find a pace and structure that supports you, whether you’re looking for short-term support or longer-term therapy.

Step Two
If it feels right, we’ll schedule your first session and begin at a pace that feels manageable for you.
Imagine moving through your day with more energy and a greater sense of ease.
FEELING MORE PRESENT, MORE CONNECTED, AND MORE LIKE YOURSELF AGAIN. THINGS FEEL LIGHTER, STEADIER, AND MORE MANAGEABLE. WE CAN HELP YOU MOVE TOWARD THAT.
As you move through therapy, you begin to understand yourself in a different way. What once felt heavy and overwhelming starts to feel more manageable and easier to navigate.
